TP-Link Aginet Router Setup

Modified on Wed, Oct 22 at 4:42 AM

Use this page for help setting up your WiFi network, accessing or changing your network password, and connecting devices to your new router.

Note: All FIBERFI provided routers come preconfigured with a unique WiFi username and password. It is completely fine to utilize this login without the need to configure your router any further.

Step 1: Log into your preconfigured WiFi

In order to proceed to Step 2, you'll need to log into your preconfigured WiFi network with the username and password that was provided by our techs at time of installation. The username and password will be located on a label similar to the one below.

Step 2: Download app and register for TP-Link ID

You'll need to download the Aginet app by TP-Link. Please scan the QR code below with your phone camera or click on the appropriate app store button below. Once downloaded, please register for a TP-Link ID.

Step 3: Log into TP-Link app

Once registered for a TP-Link ID, simply log into the app. An automatic WiFi router search will be initiated by the app.

Once the app detects your router, click the "Manage This Router" button. The app will then prompt you to set a password for the router's management section. This password will only be required when making changes to your router while away from home.

Step 4: Success! Manage your settings

You'll now be on your router's home screen, where you can view statistics such as speed utilization, connected clients, and router health status.

To change your Wi-Fi settings, go to "More" at the bottom right of the app, then select "WiFi Settings." Here, you'll be able to change your Wi-Fi username and password.
